Presidential Appointee Jimmy Bondoc resigns his post as PAGCOR EVP for ENTERTAINMENT

Jimmy Bondoc was appointed to the state ran Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), by President Duterte just recently but it took him not very long to vacate the position given him. The source said, the reason for vacating his post so early has yet to be determined but it may be because Bondoc is new lest clueless of his job designation.

 Actually, the post itself is not really defined despite the fact that he has an office and started working for the said position already. It was last month that Bondoc posted online that he was appointed as PAGCOR's Executive Vice President (EVP) for entertainment. And quipped that he might not be the right person for the job but it's all in the sack he said, that time the appointment was jus awaiting for formal approval from the board.

However, it might have been miss looked that the current PAGCOR EVP- Entertainment, Bong Quintana is a regular employee and not appointed by the President. This means that the designation is not a co-terminus. 

Quintana's side was tried to be reached out by media but he declined to be interviewed and give a statement on this issue.

Another source, a friend of Bondoc's said that he prefers to work in an agency in the government where he's comfortable and is quite related to his being an entertainer. The closest possible agency will be the State owned television channel, PTV-4.
